Taken from my warm bed on a cold clear January morning in Winnipeg.

I woke watching the moon. It was cruising through the frozen canopy outside my window.  Before rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I briefly left the warmth of my bed to find and connect the enormous 200mm lens to my Pentax K3. There wasn’t room for a tripod so I settled for putting my hand on the window to stabilize the lens.  I shot until the moon disappeared and the sky brightened.  These are my favourites.
