The University of Manitoba’s brand identity, launched in 2002 and utilized until 2022, is a testament to effective brand strategy’s enduring power. As an undergraduate student working at Clark|Huot, I supported the development of this brand, which successfully captured the university’s spirit and guided its communication for two decades.
The brand strategy, developed under Peter Clark and Ed Huot’s mentorship and now recognized for their award-winning work with Forward Media, was a cornerstone of the university’s identity. My involvement in this project offered invaluable insights into the complexities and rewards of brand development, setting the stage for my future career in strategic communications.
